On the 5th of May, Pratum Integrum orchestra with soloing organist Taras Braginets and flautist Olga Ivousheykova perform.

Besides the obvious Bach, Hendel, Telemann, and Couperin, the setlist of the concert features Jean-Marie Leclair. The element of the latter was violin; he was the trendsetter in France in earlier 18th century. He was virtuoso in fusing the style of Corelli’s sonatas with French musical taste.

In 1737, the composer released his first book of violin concertos, simply dubbed “Opus 7”. But the Third concert is a darling of… violinists! And it’s the violin rendition you’ll listen to at the Zaryadye Hall performed by Olga Ivousheykova.
