Riad Mammadov is a prodigy pianist, accomplished in Classical and Jazz and also known for beautifully combining various styles and genres of music. He is well known in Russia, Azerbaijan and other areas around the world. In 2014 Riad was appointed special musical advisor for the 1st European Games Ceremonies under Musical directors, Maestro Teodor Currentzis, Vangelino Currentzis and Artistic Director Dimitris Papaioannou. Riad has performed in over 15 countries around the world, highlights include the Grand Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory, the Alexandriyskiy Theatre, the M. Magomayev Azerbaijan State Philharmonia, the Grand stage of the P. I. Tchaikovsky Theatre of Opera and Ballet, Sante-Chantier Castle, the Concert Hall of Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and the Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet.
